'Extremely concerning' Security glitch allows Scots to fake covid vaccination certificate

NHS Scotland Portal so people travelling abroad can provide proof of vaccinations. The form includes details of what jab the person received and when.But the certificates can now be faked due to a security glitch that allows personal details to be altered by using computer software programmes.BBC Scotland was able to download a certificate and edit it to include a false name and the address of the BBC's Glasgow headquarters.

The Scottish Government say they are currently working to rectify the issue but have been blasted for putting peoples safety at risk by the Tories.

Scottish Conservative shadow health secretary, Annie Wells, said: “It’s extremely concerning that this security flaw has been uncovered at a time when people are looking for.
