A former paratrooper who travelled to Syria to fight ISIS has spoken of his horror after he returned to the UK and was charged with terror offences himself.

Daniel Burke, 33, from Wythenshawe, made the decision to take on the terrorists following the Manchester Arena bombing, which killed 22 people and injured hundreds more.

Evil Salman Abedi detonated an improvised explosive device as concert-goers left an Ariana Grande gig on May 22, 2017. Daniel's decision to join the fight against IS would have dramatic consequences, Manchester Evening News reports.
