An ex-MP who climbed into a staffer’s bed and trying to touch her sexually will face no sanction from Parliament. Mike Hill - who resigned in March triggering the Hartlepool by-election - invited the female staff member to live in his one-bed flat and texted her saying “I also crave your body”, investigators ruled today.
Parliament’s Independent Expert Panel also ruled he came up behind the staffer “on many occasions” in his Westminster office and “touched her inappropriately”.
