The intention is to vaccinate thousands of production house personnel and crew. Organizers said that mass vaccination was the only effective weapon in the ongoing battle against coronavirus and that they hoped the camp would provide a boost to the country’s mission of attaining universal vaccination, as well as facilitating safer shooting once production returns.India’s latest wave of coronavirus infections has been devastating for the country, reaching a peak of close to 400,000 confirmed cases per day earlier in May.
