Alf-Inge Haaland has suggested that Manchester United as a club did not want his son, Erling Haaland, enough. United were in for the 19-year-old striker, along with Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
Haaland projected himself onto a global scale with his sensational scoring record for Red Bull Salzburg. The Norwegian scored a staggering 28 goals in 22 appearances in the first half of the season.
United eventually pulled out of signing Haaland due to future clauses wanted by representatives Mino Raiola and Alf-Inge. Even though the Italian agent has since moved to deny these claims.
