Emmerdale star Amy Walsh has revealed the generous gift she is set to receive from Girls Aloud pal Cheryl as she welcomes her new baby to the fold.The 34-year-old has been gifted an array of to-notch furniture by the singer in a sweet gesture as mum-of-one Cheryl celebrates Amy’s new arrival.Amy told OK!: "We’re going to pick up furniture from Cheryl that she’s giving us at some point, so she’ll meet Bonnie then."Soap star Amy, who plays Tracy Metcalfe on the soap, welcomed the new addition in January with her EastEnders star beau Toby Alexander Smith, best known for playing serial killer Gray Atkins.Having become pals through Amy’s sister Kimberley, who was Cheryl’s bandmate in Girls Aloud, it seems the pair have developed a strong bond as Cheryl and bandmate Nicola Roberts have also flooded the actress with a series of well wishes since the birth."They’ve messaged through Kimberley," Amy said. "They were so pleased for us and pleased that it’s a girl for Kimberley, too, as she’s excited to have a niece!"Amy is thrilled to welcome a girl to the family as her own family has enjoyed a lot of boys over the years.While Cheryl is busy juggling life with son Bear, Kimberley has three sons, Bobby, Cole and little Nate.
Meanwhile, Amy and Kim's sister Sally is also mum to four boys.Amy and Toby, who plays murderer Gray on EastEnders, decided to wait until the birth to discover the gender to maximise the surprise.Speaking of the moment they found out she was a girl, Amy said: "We immediately burst into tears of joy!"Smitten Toby added: "We’ve got photos and videos from that moment we’ll treasure forever.
