Emmerdale fans have slammed Rhona Goskirk for pushing Marlon Dingle too much as he starts taking speech therapy lessons after his life-changing stroke.During Tuesday’s instalment of the popular ITV soap, viewers saw the beloved pub landlord take the first steps to recovery after he learned of the devastating effects of his stroke last week. While he lay in bed, his nurse showed him postcards of different everyday objects found around the house which he was tasked with naming during the session, but the cook struggled to get the words out. However, fans couldn’t help but notice that his wife-to-be was pushing him too hard during the session as she attempted to help him with the different names of the objects on the cards.Unfortunately, Marlon gave up on the first lesson out of frustration, much to the heartache of loyal viewers watching from home.It was at this point that fans flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on her overbearing support which many feel has started to hold him back from recovery. One user penned: “Rhona is being selfish.

She’s not thinking of Marlon, she’s thinking of herself. “There’s a long road ahead but Rhone thinks by being like this, pushy, Marlon will get better faster & she’ll get her life back to normal # emmerdale.” Another agreed: “#emmerdale poor Marlon stuck with Rhona waste of space a trained vet who knows nothing about strokes.

She is not helping – it takes time and patience and hard work she had no clue …"A third chimed in with: “#emmerdale oh c’mon Rhona … I know it’s hard but a bit more patience, it’s only been one week!”This is a live TV story and is constantly being notes updated. Please refresh the page regularly to get the latest TV updates.TV & Showbiz reporters are working to.
