The Eiffel Tower reopens today but you'll have to walk up! The tower has been shut to all visitors since March because of the coronavirus crisis.

But as life gets back to normal in the French capital the Eiffel Tower will open again at 8.30am. Tourists can only get up by booking online and all slots have been taken for the next week.

People will have to climb up and down to the first floor via a strict one way system. Everyone over 11 must be fully masked or will not be allowed to climb.

Early next month the second level will be open with very limited lift access for some visitors. A spokesman said: “We are very pleased to be opening again. “We will monitor the situation very closely. “If all goes well we will hope to open the third
