An EFL club have purchased technology from Hong Kong that could increase the chances of football returning while another 40 are in talks.
Premier League and EFL clubs are busy looking to resume the season with safety paramount. But authorities in England are facing the prospect of playing games behind closed doors for the foreseeable future - potentially until 2021.
However, Pods could offer a solution. Known as the CleanTech J-1 in Hong Kong, they are being used to ensure people can safely attend Hong Kong International Airport and the AsiaWorld-Expo.
And the introduction of such technology, which boasts a 99.99 per cent disinfectant rate for coronavirus, could help ease health concerns as football bids to return.
