Dundee Street on Monday, August 9. A man was seen loitering in the underground carpark of the casino at Fountainpark before he pounced on a staff member who was outside taking a break.
The staff member was threatened at knifepoint and ordered to hand over his phone and take the thief into the casino. Two more staff members on the cash desk were threatened once he got inside.The man took a five-figure sum in cash and casino chips which are stamped with “Fountainpark” before making off on foot through an emergency exit back into the underground car park.The man is described as being of Middle Eastern ethnicity, aged in his mid-to-late twenties, of a thin build and spoke with a mixed Scottish, Asian accent.He was wearing a hooded black down.
