Eddie Hall has been forced to withdraw from his upcoming boxing match with Hafthor Bjornsson in Florida after suffering a "serious injury".
The duo are two of the most renowned strongmen in the world, and were expected to clash in America after over a year of build-up in what was dubbed the 'heaviest boxing match in history'.
But according to promoters MTK Global who were helping CoreSports to promote the event, former World's strongest man winner Hall has suffered an injury which will require him to undergo surgery, pushing the bout back to March or April next year.
The event will still take place on September 18 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Foriday, and Bjornsson may even compete in a third exhibition bout.
