EasyJet flights to resume to 75% of its route network by August

EasyJet has announced plans to ramp up its flying programme in the coming weeks. It intends to operate flights on half its 1,022 routes in July, and 75% in August.

Flights will be at a lower frequency than usual, meaning the airline will operate at around 30% of its normal capacity between July and September.

After grounding its entire fleet at the end of March, EasyJet said it would resume some of its flights on 15 June. There will also be new rules in place to ensure that staff and customers are safe.
