'Easy target' addict hid 'fearsome' shotgun and £16k of cocaine for dealers

A woman considered an "easy target" for criminals has been jailed for hiding a sawn-off shotgun and thousands of pounds worth of cocaine at her home for drug dealers.

Police found the modified BSA Snipe 12 bore single barrel shotgun wrapped in heavy packaging in the loft of Amanda Morrison's home in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, along with 14 cartridges of ammunition.

She told officers executing a search warrant at her flat on May 1, 2019, there was "a shotgun in the attic", reports Manchester Evening News.
