mirror.co.ukEastEnders has confirmed fan favourite Chantelle Atkins will be shockingly killed by her abusive husband Gray, in a tragic end to the BBC soap's domestic abuse storyline.
It was the conclusion viewers were fearing, as Gray's violent abuse towards his wife escalated after the storyline first began early last year.
It was soon revealed the mental and physical abuse had been going on for much longer, with difficult scenes highlighting the torture he had been putting her through.
Chantelle hasn't told a soul about her ordeal, while boss Kheerat Panesar has been suspicious and does try to help her in upcoming scenes, as she plots her escape.
