Woody Allen is considered one of America’s great filmmakers, writing and directing timeless classics including Annie Hall, Manhattan and Blue Jasmine.
However, in recent years, the auteur has been largely shunned from the showbiz world, with Amazon shelving his film A Rainy Day In New York and, most recently, his memoir being axed after backlash from Ronan Farrow, Woody’s son and a client of theirs, as well as protests from their employees and on social media.
