A Dundee councillor has swapped her long flowing locks for a 'number 1' all over after braving the shave for an HIV charity.
Cllr Lynne Short, an SNP representative in the east coast city, shaved her hair off to raise money and awareness for the Terrence Higgins Trust (THT).
The local representative - who jokingly referred to herself as "Cllr Short Back and Sides" after the feat - will donate the locks to the Little Princess Trust, which provides wigs to children undergoing cancer treatment.
The shave itself was done by hairdresser Niki Brand of local salon Hush Hair at the city's landmark V&A Dundee museum. To date she has raised almost £1,000 to support the charity.
