Ben George, 30, knocked the cyclist down and sent him hurtling onto the windscreen during an "appalling" episode of dangerous driving.
The heartbroken family of the victim have been left "devastated" at his tragic death and it has brought "lifelong grief and misery" to them, reports Hull Live.A court heard how the driver had a woman and two young children with him as passengers and how he had a history of violence and two previous offences of dangerous driving.
