mirror.co.ukA driver turned the tables on would-be thieves, spraying them with petrol to prevent them from stealing his car. CCTV footage shows the man filling up his car at a petrol station when a white van pulls up at speed and comes to a stop next to his vehicle.
As three hooded men jump out at him, the man begins to spray them with petrol, fearing he was about to be robbed or attacked.
One is sprayed as he runs around the side of the car and approaches the man, and he quickly turns and runs back to the van. The van begins to pull away as the driver sprays petrol into the open side door, and the three hooded scramble to get back inside.
