Renault Twingo into the child who was out riding his bike.Vernon trapped the schoolboy beneath the wheels breaking his collar bone, fractured vertebrae, a fractured pelvis, a dislocated hip and a burn covering the left side of his face.The driver then fled the scene horror hit-and-run with the bike wedged in his wheels.The child was riding with his dad and another adult when he was struck from behind by the black Renault, causing him to flip over his handlebars and onto the road, where the car continued to drive over him.The boy's father from Pulborough, West Sussex, tried to warn Vernon that his son was trapped beneath the car, but he ignored him.Vernon then reversed straight over him.Police say the boy's cycle helmet that was found.
