TMZ reports that the paperwork was filed today. Music mogul Dr Dre, whose real name is Andre Romelle Young, 55, married Nicole, 50, in 1996.
They have two grown up children - son Truice, 23, and daughter Truly, 19, - meaning that child support won't be an issue. Sources close to the couple tell the US site that there was no pre-nuptial agreement.
According to Forbes, Dr Dre's net worth is estimated at around $800 million. Part of his fortune comes from his founding of the Beats Electronics brand.
