A university friend of the PM's controversial aide Dominic Cummings has described him as a "loner" who didn't make many friends.
Lebby Eyres was at Exeter College, Oxford, with Boris Johnson's top adviser and opened up on what he was like as a teenager.
Cummings arrived at the University of Oxford to study history in 1991 from Durham School, an independent boarding school in the northeast of England.
Eyres described him when he arrived as a "loner" who refused to join in any Freshers' activities. The longtime friend said he found it hard to believe how Cummings was now regarded as one of the most powerful people in the government.
