DIY fan makes designer £240 makeup mirror replica for just £12

A DIY fan had her heart set on a £240 makeup mirror but didn’t want to fork-out for the extravagance. So she managed to make an impressive replica for just £12.

Liz Joseph shared her trick in a video on TikTok, where it has been watched more than two million times. To replicate her method, the design guru says you need to purchase 10 silver-framed mirrors from a discount shop.

Liz says the other tools needed are an A1-sized piece of card, strong tape, superglue and E6000 glue. Getting stuck in, she places eight mirrors on the white card – eight making the main grid and then two layered on top.

The artsy designer then securely tapes the mirrors together on the back of the strong card with brown tape and E6000 glue. Next, she squeezes out
