Mum's DIY hack re-vamps kitchen with 1p coins – and results look amazing

If you’re looking for a unique way to transform your home, then this mum’s creative design may pique your interest. Emma Cox, 37, from Lincolnshire decided to give her kitchen walls a makeover on a budget.

The mum-of-two and her husband, Stuart, who runs a windscreen business, chose to tile their family kitchen using 6,500 pennies.

Emma told money-saving community LatestDeals.co.uk : "I saw the idea on a floor and thought 'why not put it on our wall?’. "We have spent about £35 so far, and when we will have finished it will have cost about £65 in pennies, £30 on adhesive and £20 on grout.
