dailystar.co.ukDisfigured female boxer Miriam Gutierrez has given a fresh update on her condition after receiving 236 punches to the face during her bout with Amanda Serrano.The Florida Department of Licensing and Regulation, which oversees the boxing commission, stated earlier this week that the 38-year-old may never fight professionally again owing to the extent of her injuries.But in a new Instagram post on Christmas Eve, Gutierrez insisted she is doing "well" and wished her followers a very Merry Christmas.
It read: "Family have a great day and merry Christmas !!! I can only say 1 thing !! With all the people who speak and more not knowing!"This is boxing and above all it is #noble and #repetuous where I see myself reflected and before my rival.
