David Beckham 'was stalked by woman who tried to visit daughter Harper's school'

A woman who allegedly stalked David Beckham and tried to make contact with his daughter Harper is due to appear in court next week.

Sharon Bell, 58, is alleged to have stalked the football legend by attempting to contact him repeatedly and sending him a series of letters as well as trying to contact his ten year old daughter Harper at school.The Metropolitan Police accused Bell of carrying out "acts associated with stalking".

According to the criminal charge now brought against her, Bell is accused of "pursuing a court of conduct which amounted to the stalking of David Beckham".
