dailystar.co.ukNetflix documentary has died after years in captivity.Tilikum drowned a SeaWorld trainer in 2010 and was involved in the deaths of two others at the park in Florida, the US.Daughter Skyla, 17, recently died at the Loro Parque marine park in Tenerife, Spain.She was shipped from the US to the Canary Islands 15 years ago.
The cause of her death is currently unknown, with a post-mortem examination due to be carried out.Officials said she was fine until March 11, when she started showing “signs of discomfort”, La Vanguardia reports.It is thought she was suffering from intestinal torsion, a condition which can result in bowel obstruction, and acute septicemia, a blood infection.
