Danny Rose fears his Spurs career is over – and says he's playing for his footballing future on loan at Newcastle. The England left back has set his sights on extending his stay at St James's Park, because he doesn't reckon Jose Mourinho will have him back next season.
He also wants an England recall for the Euros next summer. Rose, 30 last week, has battled back to fitness under United coach Steve Bruce and has turned in some decent performances since joining in January.
He said: “First and foremost, I am playing for my future. “I don't think I need a bigger motivation than that. I have settled in very well, I love the lads, and staff and the fans. “It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that my days are numbered at Spurs.
