Halema Akhtar, 44, described as an 'angel' and a 'pillar' of her family, died after a collision in Rochdale. Moneeb Arshad, 28, pleaded guilty to causing her death by dangerous driving. She was rushed to hospital, and died three days later. Manchester's courts are some of the busiest in the country with a vast array of cases heard every week.
