BBC Breakfast's Dan Walker says his frenemy Piers Morgan is a 'decent bloke' following his shock departure from GMB over comments he made about Meghan Markle.
The 44-year-old journalist has made no secret of his competition with Piers, 55, in the past, over viewing figures for their rival daytime shows - which they sometimes feud about on social media.
Despite this, Dan reached out to Piers when he heard the presenter quit the ITV show after he received backlash from viewers when he said he 'didn't believe' the Duchess of Sussex previously suffered from suicidal thoughts.
At the time, Dan reached out to Piers on Twitter and offered him a chance to speak about his departure on the BBC Breakfast sofa.
