BARBARA Windsor could appear as a hologram in a series of new Carry On films, the boss of the franchise has revealed. The iconic actress, who died from Alzheimer's on Thursday, aged 83, could make a posthumous screen return in 2022.

Brian Baker, a director of Carry On Films Ltd, told the Star: "We have got two new stories and we are looking to do one of the old ones again to bring it up to modern day quality - probably Carry On Sergeant. "Barbara will be making an appearance.
