TMZ reports that police quietly opened up a criminal investigation last November when Bobby Brown's son was found dead at home.
On March 22, an autopsy showed that Bobby Jr. died from a toxic combination of alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl. His death was listed as accidental.
Police, TMZ said, felt that narcotics were involved from the beginning, particularly having spoken to several people who were around the 28-year-old before his death.According to reports, there were no drugs or paraphernalia found at the scene when the body was recovered.The case — and any potential indictments — is now in the hands of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
