A US nursing home patient called out to her Amazon Alexa for help before she was killed by the coronavirus. The harrowing messages were found on the device after 66-year-old LouAnn Dagen’s agonising death at a Michigan hospital on Saturday.
Her sister Penny found 40 messages as she went through the recordings back home in Tennessee after her death. LouAnn could be heard pleading: “Alexa, help me.
I am in pain. I have to find a way to relieve it.” She added: “Can you help me cope with pain? Oh, Alexa. I’m going to hurt.” The nursing home patient then could be heard calling out in agony for law enforcement.
