Coronavirus Scotland: No new Covid-19 deaths recorded for second day in a row

For a second day in a row no new coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Scotland's hospitals. The Scottish Government confirmed there had been a rise of 18 in the number of positive cases bringing the new total to 15,639.

There are currently 1,042 Scots in hospital while the number of people in intensive care sits at 24 - a decrease of one. A total of 2,415 people have now died from Covid-19 across the country.On Sunday, officials announced that there had been no Coronavirus deaths reported overnight for the first time since March.
