There have been no new deaths meaning the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic in Scotland remains at 2,494.264 people are currently being treated in hospital with six people in intensive care.The announcement was made ahead of the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon revealing her plan for government for the next year.

The news comes shortly after cluster of coronavirus cases were identified in Grantown in the Scottish Highlands. NHS Highland’s Health Protection Team confirmed five news cases of Covid-19 today and said contract tracing is underway.
