Half of patients who were hospitalised suffer from neurological symptoms, reports a Northwestern Medicine study published this week in Annals of Neurology.

These include headache, dizziness, decreased alertness, difficulty concentrating, disorders of smell and taste, seizures, strokes, weakness and muscle pain.But the study also claims the disease could affect the entire nervous system as well – this would include the brain, spinal cord and nerves as well as the muscles.Dr Igor.
