The number of cases of coronavirus in the UK has increased by 83 to 456 on Wednesday. It's the single biggest leap in 24 hours.
There have been six people who have died from the virus confirmed by the NHS, including a man who died at the weekend at the North Manchester General Hospital.
The latest update from the Department for Health and Social Care said more than 27,476 people have now been tested for the virus.
Of these, 27,020 were negative and 456 were positive. On Tuesday, there were 373 confirmed cases in the UK. A 53-year-old woman in Bali died on Tuesday, the eighth British citizen to die from coronavirus, after a Briton from the stricken Japanese cruise ship passed away last week.
