Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has confirmed David Platt will 'get his own back' on his cheating wife Shona as he teased the aftermath of the scandal.
As fans of the ITV soap have previously seen, trouble was certain to be on the horizon for the couple as soon as David started sneaking around intercepting letters sent through the post and deleting emails from Shona's laptop before it was revealed she was being contacted by Weatherfield Prison about her son, Clayton Hibbs, who killed David's late wife, Kylie Platt.
After weeks of lying to a despairing Shona, when she was told Clayton was in hospital after an attempt to take his own life and couldn't understand why she never heard from the prison about Clayton wanting to speak to her, the truth came out. Max seemingly agreed to keep David's secret but all that changed when Shona stepped up her desperate attempts to get answers from the prison governor and as she headed to the jail, she lost her temper by shoving the governor when he wouldn't reveal the truth about the missing emails and Clayton's visitor.
