The matriarch officially waved goodbye to Weatherfield on Christmas Day having tied the knot with her sixth husband Jesse Chadwick at her seventh wedding.
After saying 'I Do' the pair left for France, marking an end of Gail's 50 years living on the street alongside her since expanded family.
But she had no idea with what she was leaving behind, namely David who is in the bad books of imprisoned drug lord Harvey Gaskell having stolen the money Damon Hay had taken from his brother to help ex-girlfriend Sarah Platt and her troubles with daughter Bethany's botched surgery in Turkey.
