Coronation Street star Beverley Callard has vowed to learn to walk again by the end of the year. The 63-year-old actress, who plays Liz McDonald on the soap, has been left in intense pain and needing extensive physiotherapy after a routine hip operation went wrong.The Corrie star was left needing a full hip replacement to fix her crumbled joint after her initial surgery and feared she'd be left in a wheelchair for life.However, Beverley is focused on returning to the soap so she can film her final scenes as Liz.Opening up, she said: “This is the toughest fight of my life but I am determined to win it.She continued telling The Mirror: “I love playing her [Liz] and she has inspired me to want to get on my feet again so I can do it one last.
