Coronation Street fans fuming as Max spiked Amy’s drink after school disco went south

Coronation Street fans found out that Max Turner spiked Amy Barlow’s drink at their school disco as police seized his video camera.During Friday’s (18 February) instalment of the popular ITV soap, viewers were glued to their screens after they noticed the student filmed the school dance on the big night.But when Daniel Osborne and David Metcalfe started pestering the him for the much-needed footage, Max managed to find ways out of handing the clip into evidence.As he went through the footage on his laptop, David stormed into the house and demanded the camera with a police officer hot on his tails.Yet when the doting dad attempted to look through the clips on the camera, he came up blank as he handed over the equipment to the officer.As he turned his back to the room and pulled out the SD card from his pocket before he ran out of the room.Later on, doting dad David asked what was getting his son so upset as he walked in on him watching back the hidden footage on his computer.

It was at this point that he watched Max hide a bottle of GHB inside his cast where he went on to subtly spike one of the drinks.

The star understandably shouted at his son as he demanded an explanation for his reckless actions that could have killed Amy Barlow.

Terrified that he would turn him in to the police, he confessed that he spiked the drink hoping that his teacher Mr Osborne would take the deadly drug.
