Cops have said they will have 'significant resources' on the streets of Edinburgh as thousands are expected to celebrate Hogmanay.
A top cop in the capital has said the force and other support agencies will be on hand during the occasion tomorrow night. Like last year it is set to be a more dialled down occasion that tradition New Year celebrations due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
