A convicted drug dealer assaulted a man and failed to give a sample of breath to police, a court heard. But Blake Donnellan, 36, has avoided going back to jail after he was handed a community order.
Donnellan, who is originally from Manchester, was jailed a decade ago for 15 years for his part in a multi-million-pound operation to smuggle cocaine into the South West, reports Plymouth Live.
Drugs with an estimated street value of £1 million and nearly £100,000 in cash were seized by Devon and Cornwall Police in 2009 and 2010.
The Crown Prosecution Service said Donnellan was the 'mover and shaker' in the network and the link between the drugs coming down from Manchester to Plymouth and onwards to Cornwall.
