The odds on ring warrior Conor McGregor heading into the I'm A Celebrity jungle have been slashed after his latest retirement announcement.

The Irish fighter claims to have called it quits for the third time in four years. The former two-weight UFC champion dropped the news on  Twitter immediately after Amanda Nunes defeated Felicia Spencer to retain her featherweight title at UFC 250 in Las Vegas.

Conor is keen for a career away from the sport - and breaking into television is said to be a priority. Now he could be swapping the ring for the bush camp, according to one leading bookmaker.
