iOS - Android The speed limit has caused grave concern in the area with locals voicing their opinion on social media.Many residents also feel that traffic calming measures should be put in place on route to the primary school instead of a 30mph limit being introduced.In a Facebook post one resident said: "I just don't understand the thinking behind that decision, it is just crazy.

The speed of the cars is just ridiculous. Traffic calming must be put in place before someone is hurt and drivers need to be more mindful when using the route."Another said: "I can’t believe they have that marked as 30mph, with cars parked at both sides and children stepping out on the road going to school.
