During a particular episode, he claimed Piers Morgan, 55, was keen to get the audience on his side, rather than the show’s main anchor Ian Hislop, 59.Recalling the moment, he told Express.co.uk: “If I remember rightly, the one thing that struck me at the time was, he was basically saying to the studio audience that they must like him better than Ian Hislop, which was sort of weird because the audience knew they were going to see Ian Hislop, so if they didn’t like Ian Hislop, they wouldn’t be there.“Whereas, any of us guests would be a surprise.
