Classic 70s show Ivor the Engine to become live action film - thanks to creator's son

EASTENDERS stars John Altman and Steve McFadden turned out to pay their respects for the funeral of Leonard Fenton on Wednesday. The actor - who played Dr Harold Legg on the BBC One soap - sadly passed away aged 95 on January 29th. Leonard was best known for playing one of EastEnders original characters - appearing from its very first episode in 1985 and starring in a total of 267 episodes.

Comedian Heather McDonald is being a good sport about her recent on-stage fainting incident that left her hospitalized by sharing video of the event on social media.  The standup comedian, 51, collapsed during a sold-out show in Tempe, Arizona on Saturday night.The ensuing fall left her skull fractured and required a brief stay in the hospital. She took to her Instagram Story soon after to apologize to the crowd as well as the people who had tickets for the next show she was going to do that night that was canceled.  On Tuesday, McDonald went to TikTok to share footage of the incident that reveals the scary moment when she suddenly lost her balance on stage and fell backward, landing directly on the back of her head. Ivor the Engine is staging a comeback, with a live action feature film serving as his vehicle of choice. The Locomotive of the Merioneth and Llantisilly Rail Traction Company Limited – or Ivor to his friends – is being backed by a host of celebrities hailing from his home country, Wales, including musician and radio host Cerys Matthews, comedian Rob Brydon and actor Rhys Ifans.
