Christine McGuinness has been called a ‘role model’ by viewers after opening up about her autism diagnosis on Strictly The Real Full Monty.
Making its star-studded return on Monday night, the ITV special, which encourages people to get checked for cancer, saw Christine talk about how her autism was affecting her ability to learn dance moves.
Speaking to former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan, the 33 year old broke down in tears after struggling to pick up the dance routine due to her difficulties maintaining eye contact. “I find it painful,” she said.
