Chris Sutton believes Leicester City fans are beginning to feel that Brendan Rodgers' reign has gone stale.The Northern Irish boss left the Celtic dugout in 2019 for the Foxes and he has been there ever since.
He's delivered them European football and a historic FA Cup triumph in his time at the King Power Stadium but has flirted with a relegation battle in this season's Premier League, amid a lack of investment in the first team playing squad.Record Sport columnist and Celtic hero Sutton senses that fans are beginning to grow tired of a reign now in its third full season, although he offered a strong defence of the Northern Irishman.
He said on Five Live: "I think it is extremely harsh. They have been spoiled for so long, they won an FA Cup under Brendan Rodgers.
Last season they were around eighth and they have gone pretty well. They didn't really invest and Brendan Rodgers was quite vocal about that."Losing at Southampton away was a major disappointment.
