Chris Hughes is reportedly ‘gutted’ over speculation his ex-girlfriend Jesy Nelson and Our Girl star Sean Sagar are dating. Love Island star Chris and Little Mix singer Jesy had dated for just over a year before calling it quits during lockdown and news of their break up surfacing in April.Since then, Jesy has been romantically linked to actor Sean, who plays Monk on BBC series Our Girl – although her rep has insisted the pair are just friends.

Jesy and Sean were pictured looking close while out together for drinks and sources have now told The Sun on Sunday that seeing the pair together has been a ‘hard pill to swallow’ for Chris. ‘Chris was really in love with Jesy and wanted it to work,’ the insider claimed.
