Chelsea have been left in the clear as the only suitors for Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz. The German international has attracted major interest following his Bundesliga exploits this term.But Chelsea don't seem to have too much competition for Havertz's services after today's comments from Bayern Munich's honorary president Uli Hoeness.
The European giants, along with Real Madrid, have been tentatively linked as potential rivals for the Blues. However, the Allianz Arena boss says Leroy Sane's arrival means they won't be swooping for Havertz in the coming weeks or months."I am sure that after Leroy Sane there will be no major transfers this year," he told German newspaper FAZ."That has nothing to do with the quality of Havertz.
